Bitless & Natural Equestrian Centre

Contact: Sheila Lee Thompson

Location: Gwarallt, Talsarn, Lampeter SA48 8RA

Bitless & Natural Equestrian Centre offers full livery in a large, mixed herd on a combination of track, equicentral & herbal grazing, with ad lib forage, organic seaweed & salt. Monthly herbal worming is included.  At just under 1000 ft above sea level, we are ideally placed to take sweet-itch sufferers (midges don't survive long here!) We specialise in retirement livery as well as training livery and there is a small indoor school for the exclusive use of livery clients.

In practice most of the horses here are self-trimming although we have an excellent & very experienced barefoot trimmer close by should she be required.  Situated on the B4337 Lampeter to Aberystwyth road, we have access to country lanes & bridle paths within a few hundred yards of our entrance in either direction, and we are easily accessible for horse transport.

Horse Haven

Contact: Larri Davison-Bowes

Location: Talsarn, Ceredigion

At the Horse Haven we offer natural herd living on a full livery basis for horses young and old at our beautiful holding in the idyllic Aeron Valley in rural mid-west Wales.

Passionate about what we do - Our aim was to provide the very best in natural horse care for our own barefoot horses and we are lucky enough to be able to share our Haven with a select few other horses.

We run a part track / Equicentral system to ensure the horses can safely experience the three core needs of all horses - Friends, Forage and Freedom in a relaxed purpose built environment.

In addition we can provide life skills training for very young horses or rescues and pre-backing or backing & riding away for the more mature youngster. We also offer reschooling, rehab or retirement livery options to suit the needs of your older horse. That's us then Debs, thanks for getting in touch.
