Jane Cadman

I provide holistic hoof care in Essex and surrounding areas. I have ridden horses since a child and have now become involved with carriage driving. I have always had a passion for horses and currently my Caspian is being broken to ride and my Dartmoor to drive.

Using my knowledge of feet as a human podiatrist, I thought this would be an easily transferable skill for the hoof. How wrong was I! With an intense few years under Equine Podiatry Training limited I have learnt so much more. I am now armed with a knowledge of hoof mechanics, nutrition, behaviour, gait analysis and pathologies. In my professional experience, I have seen at 1st hand the problems shoes cause in the human foot. So it made sense to me that this can also apply to the shod horse and therefore, the benefits of barefoot. So hoof 2 toe podiatry services was born.

I love learning and continue to keep up to date with CPD. However, I believe that our equines truly are exceptional educators.

I love working with people and animals. I hope to help achieve good foot health and well being, in both you and your horse.
